Another coachmakers plane. This one has no makers mark. It is a small walnut tailed Rabbet plane with a convex sole.
The sole is 3 3/4″ long and 3/4″ wide.
The steel sole is fastened by 8 screws. You can tell from the way some of the screw heads have worn down that the plane has had some use.
There are no makers marks and the use of walnut makes me think it is user made. However, the maker was obviously quite skilled.
