The restoration is finally complete - all that is left now is for the grand-daughters to test ride it.

This is probably the boring part - restoration of the frame. It was structurally sound but still required a fair bit of work.

Up until now, I had never really done anything to look after my files, and storage meant throwing them into a drawer in my workbench.

Part 2 of the restoration involved stripping down the rocking horse, patching the paintwork and preparing it for final painting.

It can be said that the best plan is one that can be changed if needed. Well my plan for the table has been changed. A Facebook Marketplace find of a 3m table meant I would not need to make my own table-top.
